Media Coordination (Entry-Mid level)

🎬 Now Hiring: Media Coordinator (Entry-Med level) | TransPerfect Media South Africa (Pty) Ltd | Cape TownTransPerfect Media — South Africa’s leading localization facility — is looking for a Media Coordinator to join our Cape Town team on a Full-time basis.In this role, you'll oversee the quality control, layback, and delivery of localized media content (dubbed and subtitled) for our client base. You'll collaborate with in house post-production teams translators, and audio engineers to ensure seamless, on-spec delivery of high-quality content.🔧 Key Responsibilities:• Manage layback workflows: syncing dubbed audio, subtitles, and other media elements• Perform detailed QC checks on video/audio deliverables• Ensure all assets meet technical specifications and platform requirements• Coordinate delivery of final files (masters, mixes, subtitles)• Work cross-functionally to track project status, troubleshoot issues, and maintain schedules• Use media asset management tools to track versions and archive projects✅ What We’re Looking For:• 1–3+ years of experience in post-production, media delivery, or localization workflows• Proficiency in Pro Tools, MS Office, and media editing software (Mac & Windows)• Deep understanding of audio post-production, subtitles, file formats, QC• Strong communication, organizational skills, and a sharp eye for detail• Degree in Film/Media Production, Audio Engineering, or related field• Proficiency in both Afrikaans and English – required📍 Location: Office-based – Cape Town, South Africa📅 Start Date: Immediate💼 Type: Full-time, Mondays – Fridays (9am – 5pm)If you're a detail-oriented media professional passionate about delivering high-quality content to a global audience — we’d love to connect.👉 Apply now or share with someone in your network!
