Job Description

The RPA Project Officer plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and tehcnological solutions. Primary responsibility will be to analyze business processes, identify areas for automation and oversee the implementation of Automation COE projects. This person will work closely with stakeholders from various business units to gather requirements, develop project plans and ensure successful project delivery.ResponsibilitiesValidate automation requests, perform feasibility and complexity analysis, and prepare ROI modelsDocument functional specifications; ensure alignment with automation standards and security requirementsApply RSAE principles (Rationalize, Standardize, Automate, Educate) before automation to maximize valuePrepare materials for approval gates, manage change requests, and ensure audit readinessCoordinate UAT, maintain test evidence, and oversee hypercare and handover activitiesTrack benefits post-implementation and update dashboards for utilization and ROIFacilitate workshops, manage expectations, and coach citizen developers on best practicesQualificationsBachelor's degree in any IT-related course, Management Engineering, Mathematics or related disciplines2 years experience in business analysis, project management and automation implementation Strong process mapping and analysis skills (BPMN, SIPOC) Knowledge of RPA tools (UiPath) and low-code platforms (PowerApps, Kissflow)Familiarity with automation lifecycle and governance frameworksBasic SQL/data validation and understanding of non-functional requirementsExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skillsExperience in Intelligent Automation or RPA projectsExposure to compliance, risk assessment, and IT governance processesAbility to create ROI models and prioritize automation opportunitiesCertification in business analysis (e.g. CBAP) or project management (e.g. PMP) is a plus
