Safety Officer/Safety Inspector

Job Summary: To ensure adherence to safety standards on all sites as per regulations, clients requirement and company safety policy so as to create a safe working environment.Essential Roles & Responsibilities:Prepare and implement site HSE plan as per agreed project scheduleRegularly inspect site for adherence to safety standards as specified by the government authorities, ATS and specific Project safety planConduct safety inspection on site and send weekly report to HSE Manager and Project LeadPrepare accident report highlighting cause of accident, propose corrective action and implement, to prevent recurrenceIdentify unsafe practices on site, prepare necessary nonconformity reports, record the same and follow up for corrective actionConduct regular Tool Box Talk & maintain recordsImpart training and awareness amongst all site staff and subcontractors in safety and first aid guidelinesParticipate in management / client safety meetings when requiredResponsible for overall HSE related obligations at siteEnsure all contractors work safely in accordance with the site safety planActs as point of contact for all HSE related enquiries and emergencies for allocated sites/projectsReports all injuries/accidents as per standard operating proceduresMaintaining accurate administrative records of emergency drills and site inspectionsSkills & Experiences:Diploma/ Certification in Construction Safety Engineering or any equivalent vocational safety certificationNebosh & IOSH certifications required2 to 5 years of experience in the same field. Construction experience is mandatoryKnow-how and expertise in safety regulations
