Job SummaryThe Clerical Assistant - Health Administration provides essential administrative support to the Health Administration team by performing routine clerical duties such as scanning, filing, mail handling, and data entry. This role ensures that documentation is processed efficiently and accurately, contributing to the smooth operation of the department. Key Duties And Responsibilities Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages. Scan and index documents into the company’s document management system.
File physical and electronic records in accordance with company procedures. Prepare outgoing mail and courier packages. Perform data entry and update administrative records as required. Assist with photocopying, printing, and assembling documents for internal and external use. Maintain office supplies inventory and request replenishments as needed. Support the team with general administrative tasks and special projects. Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive information. Perform any other duties as assigned. Education/ExperienceKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED A minimum of five (5) secondary school certificates (including Mathematics and English) or equivalent.
1–2 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in an insurance or healthcare environment. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and document scanning tools. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with document management systems. Familiarity with insurance or healthcare terminology would be an asset.
