Job Title: Salaried GPSalary: £4,140 per annum per weekly evening session*Remote only salary: £3,726 per annum per weekly evening session*A weekday evening session is 1.5 hours. Saturday session is 6.5 hours. Hours: Minimum 1.5 hours per weekResponsible to: GP Clinical LeadThe RoleWe are hiring for both on-site face-to-face sessions and remote sessions within our Enhanced Access (EA) servicePatients can be from any of the member GP practices within the Westminster area, we are currently hiring for the following: Face to face weekdays 6.30pm - 8pm: 5x 15 min face-to-face, 1x 15 min telephone call Remote weekday 6.30pm - 8pm: 9x 10 min appointments Remote Saturday 9am-5pm: 16x 10min telephone call AM, 23x 10min telephone call PM, 6 catch-up slots through the day, 30min lunchbreak (unpaid) Excluding Bank HolidaysThe on-site role is based at South Westminster Centre (SW1P 2PF)Update 6/10/25: Tuesday sessions have been filledThe remote sessions are based from homeUpdate 6/10/25: Saturday remote sessions have been filled In EA you will see patients as a continuation of their usual GP practice covering both acute issues and general medical reviewsNHS pension + other benefitsRequirementsGMC registered Right to work in the UK Enhanced DBS check to be completed prior to employment Previous work experience in the NHS Competency in SystmOne desirable, otherwise training can be provided To be considered for remote sessions, you must be a qualified GP for at least 6 months and live or work within the Greater London area Who We AreHealthcare Central London (HCL) is the GP Federation owned by our 30 General Practices covering the Central London (Westminster) area.  HCL supports 4 Primary Care Networks (PCNs). For more information, please visit https://healthcarecentrallondon.co.uk/what-we-do/Contract InformationThe HCL employment contract, has key differences in terms and conditions to BMA standards, aligned with HCL’s status as a limited commercial company rather than an NHS entity. Continuity of service for NHS roles is not recognised beyond employment with HCL, as we are not a part of NHS service trusts or authorities. Probation provisions include a six-month period with full guidance and support. Annual salary increases remain discretionary, reviewed by the HCL board, considering national NHS uplifts, but are not contractually guaranteed. Benefits such as annual leave (30 days plus 8 public holidays pro-rata), HCL's enhanced maternity leave, and sick pay differ from the BMA standard provisions. Standard notice is 3 months, with standard PILON clauses in place. Study leave remains discretionary, determined case-by-case.
