Role SummaryThe main responsibility of this role is to promote and sell new Scania vehicles and services within a designated region (KZN). This is achieved by focusing on end customer contact, building relationships, preparing quotations that fulfil their demands, and follow through to delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for the promotion and selling of new Scania vehicles and services within the designated region (KZN), developing the sales network and upholding a positive brand image and Scania Values.Job ResponsibilitiesTo effectively market & sell (new) Scania trucks in a professional capacity by establishing new business relationships & maintaining relationships with existing clientele as well as our new truck sales team regionally to meet all targets.To effectively build our brand by adhering to the company’s quality policy, protocols & systemsThis role includes travel to Scania dealerships, existing and new customers within the allocated region (KZN region)Assisting with customer queries whilst maintain & improving customer satisfactionCold calling / hunting for potential new clientsReporting activities & leads daily, completing weekly sales reports & forecastingRespond to enquiries and follow upBe a team player and assist the teamAttend meetings as and when requiredQualifying customers & leads, go getter with a good understanding of customer needs, and able to build good rapport with customers.Attending to phone calls, messages, emails punctuallyCustomer meetings including introduction & familiarisation of the of the FIT toolUphold and maintain professionalism and positive representation of the Company Brand and Values.Applicant Must Meet These Minimum RequirementsMatric (Grade 12) + MathsPreferably (Sales/Marketing related qualification)3 to 5 years’ experience as a Sales Executive – Automotive industry (preferably Trucks)Commercial sales advantageousDrivers LicenceSales Track RecordMust be located in DurbanCompetencies – these will be tested in the interview should you be shortlisted:Sales TechniqueNegotiation & Networking skillsServices Knowledge & Business EthicsAdvanced Customer Relationship ManagementUnderstanding of legal issuesCommunicationBusiness ethics and industry related experienceCompetitor analysisCustomer needsLeadershipTeamworkPeople ManagementStrategic ManagementBusiness FinanceIntegrity & ComplianceAll applications will be treated with full confidentially and will only be made available to the people involved in the recruitment process.NB: Please be advised in order to apply for this vacancy you need to have been employed in your current role for a minimum of 1 year.
