Role OverviewThe Sales Executive – Tyler ERP Solutions will lead all business-development and sales activities related to KVD’s Tyler-aligned consulting services. This includes lead generation, outreach, account management, proposal coordination, and closing new consulting engagements with municipal clients.You will be the face of KVD Global to CIOs, Finance Directors, IT Managers, Procurement teams, and departmental leaders across the public sector.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Lead GenerationIdentify, qualify, and pursue opportunities with municipalities using Tyler Munis, EERP, EnerGov, and related modules.Build and maintain a robust pipeline covering implementation, optimization, upgrades, integrations, assessments, and post-go-live support.Conduct market research to identify municipalities in North America with aging Tyler implementations (10+ years) or active upgrade initiatives.Client Engagement & Sales ExecutionEstablish trusted relationships with CIOs, Finance Directors, HR Directors, Permitting/Community Development leaders, IT Managers, and Procurement teams.Deliver compelling outreach emails, presentations, and capability decks (with support from KVD’s consulting team).Facilitate discovery calls, assess client pain points, and position KVD’s solutions clearly and effectively.Prepare and present proposals, SOWs, and competitive bid waiver justifications (CBWRs) in collaboration with the KVD team.Lead contract negotiations and close new business.Tyler ERP ExpertiseDemonstrate understanding of Tyler Munis / EERP modules (Finance, HR, Payroll, Utility Billing, Purchasing, AP/AR, Budgeting, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting).Understand integration points with EnerGov, EAM, Payments, MyCivic, CentralSquare, and legacy systems.Speak fluently about common Tyler implementation challenges (data migration, workflow, COA redesign, change management, training gaps, post-go-live optimization).Relationship ManagementBuild long-term partnerships with cities, towns, counties, districts, and state agencies.Maintain a positive reputation for responsiveness, professionalism, and integrity.Track all activities in CRM (HubSpot or alternative).Collaboration & Internal SupportWork closely with KVD’s consulting team to align offerings with client needs.Provide weekly forecasting updates and pipeline reports.Suggest improvements to marketing collateral, case studies, and outreach strategy.Required QualificationsMinimum 3–5 years selling Tyler ERP (Munis, EERP) or similar municipal ERP solutions.Existing relationships with municipal leaders across the U.S. or Canada.Deep understanding of public-sector procurement processes (RFPs, RFIs, formal bids, CBWRs).Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Experience selling consulting services, professional services, or integration services.Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred).Preferred QualificationsExperience working for Tyler Technologies, a Tyler reseller, or a Tyler-focused consulting partner.Understanding of public-sector budgeting cycles, fiscal calendars, and governance structures.Ability to speak to technical concepts (APIs, integrations, data migration, reporting) without needing to be a hands-on developer.Experience selling multi-year managed services or subscription-based offerings.Success IndicatorsRapid pipeline growth within first 60–90 days.Consistent monthly outbound activity (email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, discovery calls).High-quality SOWs and proposals with strong win rate.New revenue growth for Tyler-focused services (implementation support, optimization, assessments, integrations, training).Expansion of existing accounts into multi-phase engagements.CompensationBase salary + tiered commission structure.Additional bonuses for multi-year contract closings.Flexible remote-work environment.Opportunities for leadership growth as the sales department expands.Why Join KVD GlobalJoin a fast-growing, high-visibility consulting company shaping the future of municipal ERP modernization.Work with a highly experienced team that delivers top-tier results with a personal approach.Help municipalities optimize operations, reduce technical debt, and deliver real value to their communities.Email CV to: chayes@kvdglobalconsulting.com------------------------------About KVD Global ConsultingKVD Global Consulting is a boutique, high-impact digital-transformation firm that helps municipalities modernize and optimize their ERP, permitting, financial, HR, and operational ecosystems.
