Our positioning centres on “The Art of Living, Told Beautifully” - combining data-driven strategy, emotionally resonant storytelling and socially native content to deliver standout campaigns for leading brands.We’re now looking for a seasoned Sales Manager to lead the conversion of opportunities, drive new business revenue and manage the early-stage client funnel from lead → qualification → close. This role sits at the intersection of business development, commercial strategy and client acquisition.Role OverviewAs our Sales Manager you will:Own and drive the agency’s new business pipeline, turning inbound leads and warm prospects into signed engagementsQualify and engage prospective clients (brands, global campaigns, retained models) and guide them through discovery, proposal and closing phasesCollaborate closely with our BD/Partnerships, Client Services, Strategy and Creative teams to ensure alignment in positioning, scope and cost-modelingEstablish and refine sales process, tools and metrics (CRM maintenance, reporting, forecasting)Achieve growth targets through a mix of new business wins, upsell/cross-sell opportunities, service line expansion and strategic partnershipsDevelop compelling proposals, commercial models, case studies and pitch materials that reflect our premium positioningMaintain strong knowledge of our market, competitive landscape and emerging client needsBuild, nurture and manage relationships with senior brand and agency stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner from initial contact through to contractWork in partnership with leadership to identify and prioritise target sectors, geographies and high-value accounts for expansionKey ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of inbound leads, referrals and ongoing warm prospects; conduct discovery sessions and assess fit (brief, budget, timeline, service model)Qualify leads, build pipelines, set meetings and engage seamlessly with stakeholders from CMO/Head of Marketing levelLead proposal development: scope, pricing, commercial terms, service model and contract negotiationHit monthly/quarterly/yearly revenue targets (new business) and contribute to pipeline growth metricsMaintain accurate forecasting and sales pipeline reporting; present to senior leadershipEstablish and maintain a sales process and supporting tools (CRM, tracking, dashboards)Collaborate with BD/Client Services teams on transition of won business into delivery, ensuring smooth hand-overIdentify service expansion opportunities within accounts and in target markets (e.g., entering new geographies, launching new service lines)Attend industry events, build network and represent the agency externallyContinually refine value proposition and positioning to resonate with premium, global clientsAbout YouProven experience (typically 3–6+ years) in a sales, new business or account acquisition role - ideally within a creative agency, marketing services, digital media, or tech-enabled services environmentDemonstrable track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targetsStrong commercial acumen - comfortable with pricing models, service scopes, margins and contract negotiationExcellent communication and presentation skills; able to engage senior stakeholders and build trusted relationshipsOrganised and methodical - strong pipeline management, forecasting and CRM fluencyStrategic thinker with a growth mindset: you spot opportunities, ask the right questions and shape propositionsGood knowledge of the digital marketing space (social media, content, influencer, paid, creative) and awareness of global market trendsCollaborative and solutions-oriented: able to work seamlessly across internal teams and external clientsBased in or willing to be in London, with hybrid working (office + remote) flexibilityA degree in Marketing, Business or related field is advantageous but not essential.CompensationBase Salary: open to negotiation - circa £40k+ commissionOther Benefits: Hybrid working (London office + remote), company participation in key events, professional development, travel budget for client/industry meetings.Equal OpportunitiesAt Social Chameleon, we are committed to building an inclusive environment and welcome applications from candidates who meet the core criteria, regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age or disability.Additional InformationJob Type: Full-timeLocation: London (Hybrid: e.g., 3 days in-office, 2 days remote) Reporting to: Head of Commercial / Managing DirectorStart: As soon as suitable candidate available
