We’re building a smarter way for seafarers and maritime companies to connect, communicate, and hire — efficiently and transparently.As we prepare for our global launch across India, the Philippines, GCC, and Europe, we’re hiring a Senior Sales & Growth Marketing Manager to shape our commercial strategy, attract our first customers, and grow our presence from day one.Role SummaryThe Marketing & Sales Manager is a critical role, responsible for the execution and optimization of the Marinex Go-to-Market (GTM) Plan and Content Marketing Strategy. This individual will own the entire customer acquisition funnel, from lead generation (B2C and B2B) through to initial sales closure (B2B) and customer success handoff. This is a hands-on role requiring strategic oversight, tactical execution, and management of external contractors (SEO Freelancer, Social Media Agency). Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Execution:GTM Ownership: Full responsibility for executing the 6-Month GTM Plan, ensuring alignment between marketing activities and sales targets.Budget Management: Manage the GTM budget, optimizing spend across paid acquisition, content creation, and external agency fees to meet CAC and CPMQL targets.Contractor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact and manager for the SEO Freelancer and Social Media Agency, ensuring all SOW and SLA deliverables are met. Marketing & Lead Generation:B2C Acquisition: Oversee the B2C acquisition funnel, focusing on driving free Seafarer Cloud sign-ups via SEO and social channels.B2B Lead Generation: Manage all B2B lead generation campaigns (LinkedIn Ads, Gated Content promotion) to deliver a consistent volume of high-quality MQLs.Nurturing: Develop and manage email nurturing sequences for both B2C (conversion to paid) and B2B (MQL to Trial). Sales & Customer Success:Sales Process: Manage the B2B sales process from MQL qualification through to the close of initial Professional and Unlimited subscription deals.Trial Management: Oversee the 14-day free trial program, ensuring high-touch support and a clear path to conversion.Sales Enablement: Work with the Content Manager to ensure the sales team is equipped with the necessary collateral (Case Studies, ROI Calculators) for every stage of the sales cycle. Qualifications and ExperienceExperience: 5+ years of experience in a hands-on marketing or sales role, preferably within a B2B SaaS or marketplace environment. Experience in the maritime or compliance technology sector is a significant advantage.Skills: Proven ability to manage digital marketing campaigns (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads), strong analytical skills (CRM, Google Analytics), and excellent communication and negotiation skills.Mindset: Must be a highly motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced, resource-constrained startup environment. CompensationCompensation will include a competitive base salary.Performance-based bonus tied to the KPIs above.
