Job Description

Fin Tanzania is looking for a sales officer to join our team in our Arusha Branch. This person will actively seek out and engage prospective customers to sell our product and/or services.The ideal candidate is results-driven, hungry for customer acquisition, and passionate about contributing to top-line revenue growth.Key responsibilities and duties:-Support in achievement of Sales targets implemented by the companyResponsible for front office customer service and brand securityInputting borrower information into the loan management systemsAssist in the implementation, planning and execution of marketing and sales strategyAssist in developing company, portfolio and market performance reports as may be neededEvaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation of specified limits as per credit policyInterview loan applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting itDetermine all applicable ratios and metrics and set up debt payment plansCommunicate with clients either to request or to provide informationAssess customer needs, explore all options and introduce different types of loansDevelop referral networks, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services to accomplish quotasGo the "extra mile" to build trust relationships, customer loyalty and satisfaction throughout the underwriting processOperate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelinesPerforming all other related duties in achieving the company’s objective as may be assignedAttending to all leads referred from respective partners and building relationships with themRequirements:-A degree in a business-related field or similar2 years or more experience in sales preferably within a microfinance or lending institution. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independentlyExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teamsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.ie., Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, ExcelAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing prioritiesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailBenefits of joining us:-Impact: Join us in making a real difference in the lives of millions of people across Africa.
