Sales Operations Manager

Job Profile: We are looking for a Manager – Sales & Operations who will be responsible to lead and oversee all sales, marketing and operational activities of the departments, ensuring achievement of sales targets and smooth day-to-day operations.  Role & Responsibilities·       Present, promote, and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers. ·       Build and maintain strong customer relationships and understand their business needs. ·       Prospect for new sales opportunities and achieve agreed sales targets. ·       Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments. ·       Manage pricing, costing, and discounting of products. ·       Oversee marketing activities, tenders, and promotional campaigns. ·       Ensure timely submission and follow-up on tenders. ·       Manage stock and order processes, including ageing stock strategies. ·       Handle customer complaints and ensure high satisfaction levels. ·       Prepare budgets, forecasts, and sales reports.·       Any other cognate duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department. Qualifications & Experience·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales/Marketing or related field (MBA is an advantage). ·       At least 10 years of solid experience in Sales and Marketing. ·       Minimum 5 years in a managerial position preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Attitude·       Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. ·       Business acumen and understanding of financial concepts and budgeting. ·       Understand and use financial concepts and budgeting.·       Excellent knowledge of products trends on the market / industry.·       Excellent operational management, sales, procurement, and stock management skills. ·       Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. ·       Excellent verbal and written communication in English and French.
