Industrial Engineering Sales People needed (x5 Junior to Intermediate)X5 Junior to Intermediate Sales People needed – with experience in the below Products in the Turn-Key Industrial Automation Engineering IndustryPermanent Position | Based in JohannesburgMust be willing to relocate near the Company - essentialYou would need to start work immediately in November and December in 2025 and January 2026 and going forward in 2026Must have a Matric - essentialMust have relevant Degrees of Diploma’s or Certificates in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation (preferred) or SalesMust have a Driver’s License and own vehicle- essentialMust have experience with either Metal Fabrication Services, or Machine Shop Services, or 6-Axis Robots (for full 3D motion for welding, painting, and assembling) Or Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s for hardware and Software) or other Turn-Key Industrial Automation Engineering Industry OR Engineering Project sales experience with these products mentioned here -Must have experience in the Industrial engineering sectors, either in Automotive, Mining, FMCG, Manufacturing, Utilities (Electricity, Gas, Water), OR related Engineering industries/ Companies etc.1 -2 years experience in the Engineering Industry as above productspromoting automation solutions (such as PLCs, SCADA systems, sensors, drives, instrumentation, and control systems),Will be responsible building strong technical relationships with clients across manufacturing, engineering, industrial and process environments.Must be prepared to travel to existing and new External Clients/ Customers for the products and solutions aboveWill be responsible for generating new business opportunities, promoting automation solutions.The roles requires both technical understanding and strong commercial skills to identify customer needs and recommend the right automation solutions.Key Responsibilities Identify and engage potential customers in industrial sectors such as manufacturing, mining, FMCG, automotive, and utilities. Conduct product presentations, site visits, and technical discussions with engineers, technicians, and plant managers. Understand customer processes and provide tailored automation solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and safety. Prepare technical quotations, proposals, and tenders in collaboration with the engineering team. Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close sales deals. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and support long-term partnerships. Monitor competitors, industry trends, and new market opportunities. Work closely with internal technical, projects and support teams to ensure accurate product delivery and customer satisfaction. Leads generated by marketing team. Track sales activities, pipeline status, and meet monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPI metrics. Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade shows, and client workshops.Required Skills & Competencies Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Customer-focused with strong relationship-building ability. Target-driven with strong business development mindset. Good planning, CRM usage, and reporting skills.Monthly salary to be discussed (** Salary package is dependent on skills, Qualifications and years of relevant experience only**) + Discretionary Annual Performance Bonus – Commission to be discussed.Please note there is a Pension Scheme which will be taken off your Net Salary, which is not negotiable. NB :The company does not pay half of the pension at all
