About The RoleThe Sales Training Lead will play a key role in how Moodle builds the skills and confidence of its global Sales and Partner teams. Reporting to the Director of Sales Enablement, you'll design and deliver training that helps our teams uncover customer needs, tell compelling stories, deliver stronger demos, and close with confidence. You'll also oversee product training and qualifications, bringing these areas together into a connected, scalable learning framework that supports both internal teams and external audiences.This is a new role, ideal for a self-starter who enjoys building and improving programs. We're looking for someone with solid commercial awareness, proven sales enablement or training experience, and excellent stakeholder management skills — someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and knows how to make learning practical, engaging, and results-driven.What You'll DoMost days in this role will involve a mix of:Translating enablement priorities into a clear, data-driven sales training roadmapBuilding structured, role-based learning pathways aligned with business goalsDesigning applied modules on discovery, storytelling, demo excellence, and objection handlingCreating qualification programs and assessments to validate sales and partner readinessOverseeing Product Training and Qualifications to ensure alignment, quality, and scalabilityEmbedding enablement into onboarding, ramp-up, and continuous development for global Sales and Partner teamsPartnering with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Partnerships to align learning content and messagingMeasuring impact through key metrics such as time-to-productivity, win rates, and readiness scoresLeading and coaching a small team of enablement, product, and learning design specialistsRequirementsWhat we're looking forWe'd love to meet you — especially if you can tell us about your:5+ years in Sales Training, Sales Enablement, or Commercial L&D within a SaaS or B2B environment, or equivalent experience in sales or account management with a strong coaching focusProven success designing and delivering programs that improved sales performanceStrong instructional design background, particularly in applied, scenario-based learningExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills across Sales, Product, Marketing, and PartnershipsExperience leading or mentoring a small team and setting clear delivery standardsData-driven mindset, with a focus on connecting training impact to measurable resultsBonus points if you have:Familiarity with Moodle Workplace or other enterprise LMS platformsExperience in Partner Enablement or commercialising training programsAbility to localise and scale programs for global audiencesMultilingual skills to support Moodle's international learner baseBenefitsWhat's in it for you?Moodle has a globally diverse team with over 280 team members in more than 25 countries around the world.
