Sap Materials Management/Logistics Consultant

Duration: 12 months contractRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced SAP MM (Materials Management) / Logistics Consultant to join our team. The consultant will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and enhancing SAP MM and logistics processes to ensure efficient supply chain, procurement, and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise, hands-on configuration experience, and a proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.Key ResponsibilitiesGather business requirements and translate them into SAP MM/Logistics solutions.Configure and support SAP MM modules (procurement, inventory management, material master, valuation, and account determination).Support logistics processes including inbound/outbound deliveries, shipping, and transportation.Work on integration touchpoints with FI, SD, WM, EWM, and PP modules.Lead workshops with business users to define process improvements and system enhancements.Develop functional specifications for custom developments and collaborate with ABAP developers.Conduct system testing, UAT, training, and post-go-live support.Provide expertise in end-to-end supply chain process optimization and best practices.Required Skills & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, or related field.8+ years of SAP MM/Logistics consulting experience including at least [X] full life-cycle implementations.Strong hands-on configuration knowledge of:Procurement (P2P, contracts, purchase orders)Inventory Management (goods movements, stock transfers, reservations)Material Master data and ValuationLogistics Execution (inbound/outbound delivery, shipment processing)Knowledge of integration with FI (invoice verification), SD (sales orders, deliveries), WM/EWM, and PP.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with SAP S/4HANA MM/Logistics.Exposure to SAP Fiori apps for procurement and logistics.Experience in industries such as manufacturing, retail, or logistics.SAP certification in MM or Logistics Execution.
