Key Responsibilities:• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons for Science subjects aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE syllabus.• Use practical experiments, problem-solving activities, and technology to enhance learning.• Prepare students effectively for internal assessments, Cambridge Checkpoint exams, and IGCSE examinations.• Develop and administer formative and summative assessments.• Track student progress using data and provide feedback to improve learning outcomes.• Maintain accurate records of student performance.• Write student reports and attend parent-teacher conferences.• Establish a safe, positive, and supportive classroom environment.• Promote discipline, respect, and collaboration in the classroom.• Provide extra academic support where needed (e.g., revision sessions or tutorials).Qualifications & Experience:Essential:• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science or a related discipline.• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).• At least 2 years of teaching experience in Cambridge Checkpoint and/or IGCSE.Desirable:• Experience teaching both lower secondary (Checkpoint) and upper secondary (IGCSE).• Familiarity with Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) requirements.• Experience in inquiry-based and student-led teaching approaches.Key Skills & Attributes:• Strong subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).• Ability to teach interdisciplinary content effectively.• Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.• Passionate about education and committed to student success.• Adaptable, resourceful, and a collaborative team player.
