Job Description: Permanent Part-time position available 3 days/week (0.63 FTE) Haematology laboratory Excellent benefits including salary packaging Fitzroy location Work for one of Australia’s leading hospital groupsAbout The RoleYou will work in various sections of the Haematology laboratory and be responsible for the processing of specimens according to established laboratory procedures and issuing of results relevant to these specimens. Work as part of a team to achieve high quality work and produce accurate and timely reports. Testing and release of results including transfusion, haematology, coagulation and blood film morphologyClassifications for this position will range from RX1 - RX7 ($63,674 - $91,785.2 per annum)Your Contribution Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Applied Science or equivalent, AIMS accredited degree Sound knowledge of clinical haematology and it’s practical applications Competence in interpreting blood transfusion, haematological results and blood film examination Good interpersonal, communication and time management skills Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtainWhat We Offer Salary Packaging – Increase your take home pay!
