Security Advisor

Carter Murray has partnered with a leading petrochemical company to find a highly experienced Security Advisor based in Saudi.This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring the safety of residents, assets, and operations by implementing world-class security strategies and protocols. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, compound management, and international embassies to deliver a secure and responsive environment.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and SOPs aligned with international and local standards.Conduct risk assessments and lead emergency response planning and incident investigations.Liaise with embassies, compound management, and local authorities to ensure alignment and responsiveness.Oversee security personnel, drivers, and facility-related contracts and budgets.Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational excellence standards.Lead training and awareness programs for residents and staff.Manage vendor relationships and ensure service delivery meets contractual obligations.Requirements:10+ years of experience in a similar security leadership role.Prior experience working in the Middle East, preferably in Saudi, Dubai or Bahrain.English speaker hire preferred due to frequent engagement with embassies and international stakeholders.Strong knowledge of local and international security protocols.Background in military or law enforcement highly desirable.Proven experience supporting expatriate communities and managing compound security.Defensive driving training and familiarity with SAP systems.Demonstrated experience in people management and cross-cultural communication.Well-established security networks in Saudi Arabia and the wider region.
