The Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring and safeguarding the premises, identifying and mitigating security risks, and ensuring the safety of employees and visitors. Day-to-day tasks include conducting routine patrols, managing access control, responding promptly to alarms or emergencies, and reporting all incidents and suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities. Additionally, the role involves enforcing security policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment. Qualifications Knowledge of security protocols and procedures, including emergency response and risk managementStrong problem-solving abilities and observational skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with employees and visitorsAbility to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectivelyPrior experience in a security role is preferredPhysical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periodsUnderstanding of basic first aid and safety measures is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent required; additional security training or certifications are desirable
