This is an exciting opportunity to work with Dutch SPVs and contribute to high-quality financial reporting for international clients. Role OverviewAs a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing the financial operations of Dutch Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs). You'll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance. Key ResponsibilitiesReview financial data prepared by Property AccountantsVerify journal entries and accounting classificationsManage day-to-day accounting for Dutch SPVs, including month-end entries and GL reconciliationsCoordinate payment processesPrepare and review key balance sheet reconciliationsDeliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsSupport statutory reporting and SOC 1 financial controlsAssist with VAT processes and liquidity forecastingParticipate in internal and external auditsContribute to cross-functional project groups Your ProfileBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)2+ years of relevant accounting experienceFamiliarity with Dutch GAAP, IFRS, and real estate/propco accounting is a strong plusExperience preparing financial statementsStrong analytical skills and a critical, detail-oriented mindsetProactive, independent, and solution-focused team playerExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFluent in English; Dutch is preferredExperience with Yardi is an advantage
