Senior Accountant

Bellota Labs, the technology studio powering products like ClubWPT Gold, is expanding our finance team and looking for a Senior Accountant to join us in Cyprus / Limassol.We’re looking for a detail-oriented, analytical professional with strong experience in financial reconciliations, data accuracy, and supporting budgeting and management reporting. In this role, you will ensure the integrity of our financial records while contributing to the company’s financial planning and analysis efforts.This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing, high-performing organization where structure, collaboration, and ownership are essential. You’ll work cross-functionally with key stakeholders and have room to grow your expertise as we scale.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting & Analysis: Assist in preparing and analyzing monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standardsReconciliations: Reconcile large volumes of financial data across multiple accounts, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptlyBudgeting & Forecasting: Support the annual budgeting process and ongoing financial forecasting, providing insights that drive strategic decision-makingExcel & Data Management: Use advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.) to process, clean, and analyze large datasets efficientlyCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various departments to support financial planning, reporting, and operational alignmentAd-hoc Projects: Assist the Head of Finance with additional tasks that support overall financial operations and department goalsKey Requirements:Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional accounting qualificationExperience: Minimum 3+ years of experience working with large datasets, financial reconciliations, and budgetingIndustry Experience: Exposure to iGaming or PSP reconciliations is a strong plusTechnical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting systems and financial toolsDetail-Oriented Mindset: Strong analytical skills with excellent accuracy and problem-solving capabilitiesCommunication: Ability to clearly and effectively communicate financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholdersWhat We Offer:A dynamic, collaborative, and supportive work environmentCompetitive compensationThe opportunity to join a well-established, fast-growing organizationExposure to diverse financial processes and business operationsWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
