We operate multiple related entities in Canada and the U.S., with financial reporting requirements that support investors, lenders, government funding, and strategic partners.We’re scaling quickly and need disciplined, audit-ready financial systems to support growth.About The RoleWe’re hiring a Senior Accountant who can manage financial reporting, forecasting, and compliance across multiple entities. This role goes beyond transactional accounting—it's analytical, model-driven, and directly supports leadership with financial insights, funding documentation, and decision-making.You will build forecasting models, consolidate financials, prepare reporting packages, and ensure records are accurate, audit-ready, and compliant with ASPE/GAAP and cross-border requirements.This is an onsite role supporting finance operations, audits, funding cycles, and external reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Build and update monthly forecasting models tied to operational inputsSupport annual budgeting and long-term planning cyclesAnalyze variances and present insights in business languageProvide financial recommendations to leadershipFinancing, Funding & External StakeholdersBuild models for project financing, grant funding, pricing, and capital structurePrepare reporting packages for lenders, investors, and government programsSupport due diligence with clean, audit-ready documentationHelp leadership present accurate financial narratives to external partnersFinancial Reporting & ConsolidationPrepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statementsConsolidate results across Canadian and U.S. entitiesMaintain schedules and reporting templates for leadershipEnsure reporting is accurate, timely, and decision-friendlyCompliance, Audit & Internal ControlsEnsure compliance with ASPE/GAAP and cross-border requirementsSupport audits, tax filings, and reporting for government-funded programsMaintain internal controls and documentation standardsMonitor payroll, sales tax, and state-level filings across both countriesQualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field4–7 years in accounting or financial reporting rolesHands-on experience with month-end close, reconciliations, financial statementsAbility to build and maintain forecasting and financial modelsProficiency in Excel (pivot tables, scenario modeling, dynamic formulas)Experience preparing schedules for audits, tax filings, or external reportingExperience with multi-entity consolidation (Canada + U.S. preferred)Strong understanding of ASPE/GAAP and compliance documentationAbility to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholdersAbility to work onsite and collaborate cross-functionallyAnalytical and detail-drivenClear communicator who can translate numbers into decisionsHands-on approach with ownership and urgencyComfortable building structure in a fast-moving environmentExperience with grant funding, pricing models, or cash flow modelingPreferredExperience in energy, hardware, manufacturing, or project-based operationsExperience preparing reporting packages for investors or lendersExperience with intercompany transactions and cross-border accountingCPA designation (completed or in progress)eCAMION is committed to an inclusive and accessible hiring process in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and AODA.
