Senior Android Developer - Egypt

Nabd, the #1 Arabic app & platform, is looking to hire an experienced Android developer to define, design and support our portfolio of applications. As a developer, you will work closely with other talented mobile developers and designers to drive the evolution and expansion of our current applications.Job RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.4+ years of experience with the Android Platform.Strong proficiency in Kotlin/Java (4+ years of experience).Experience in developing apps using Android services (Local notifications, Remote Notifications, .. etc).Must have developed at least one app available on the Google Play.Experience working with web application architectures and integration of data sources including databases, XML, JSON, and remote services.Experience with Git.Job Description Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Work with outside data sources and APIs. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Kotlin/Java code. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. Communicate with teams to help clarify concepts in order to achieve milestone objectives. Participate in meetings to share personal ideas on improving processes. Contribute own ideas for internal projects and guidelines. Co-operation with other development members (e.g. project manager, web programmers, graphic designers, and authors, quality assurance)About NabdNabd is a mobile-first company established in 2012 with operational offices in Dubai, Kuwait, KSA, Egypt, and Jordan.
