Leveraging technologies like C#, .NET, ASP.NET, microservices, RESTful, and AWS cloud services, you will build high-quality, scalable, and reliable backends for customer-facing applications. This role requires close collaboration with frontend engineers, product teams, and other engineering teams across the world to deliver exceptional customer experiences with a sense of urgency and technical excellence.What You’ll Do Build and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using C#, .NET. Lead team of engineers to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best practices for coding standards and design patterns. Lead code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Develop robust and efficient RESTful services to support frontend applications. Design and implement microservices architecture to ensure modularity and scalability. Leverage AWS services to build and optimize backend systems. Ensure backend systems are highly available, secure, and optimized for performance. Work closely with frontend engineers to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems. Partner with product managers and other engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Ensure robust testing and automation (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to deliver high-quality backend services. Deliver results with a strong sense of urgency, balancing speed and quality effectively. Identify and address technical debt and bottlenecks, ensuring the backend is always prepared to meet future demands. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve backend architectures.What You’ll BringRequired: 10+ years of experience in backend development for web or SaaS applications. Designing and developing web-based applications using Microsoft technologies (C#, .NET6+, ASP.NET, Blazor, MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server) Hands-on experience with cloud services such as AWS. Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures. 1+ years of experience as a team lead Preferred: Familiarity with various AWS services including AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, DynamoDB, MSSQL, Elastic Search and IaC Terraform. Experience with RESTful/GraphQL API development and microservices architecture. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions and TeamCity), containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes). Experience with monitoring and observability tools. Exposure to serverless frameworks Experience building backend for React Frontend apps Soft skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams from different cultures and geolocations.
