Contract Duration - 5 monthsDescription and LocationA Business Analyst (BA) in the telecom industry acts as a liaison between business units and IT, analyzing data to improve systems and processes, and documenting requirements for projects. Key responsibilities include gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing telecom usage and expenses, conducting impact assessments, liaising with stakeholders and IT teams, and developing reports and solutions to improve efficiency and profitability.Core responsibilitiesRequirements analysis: Elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements from stakeholders using techniques like workshops, interviews, and document analysis.Data analysis: Monitor and analyze telecom usage, performance metrics, and costs to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.Process and system improvement: Evaluate current business processes and systems to identify gaps and propose solutions that increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability.Liaison and communication: Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals and deliverables.Documentation: Create comprehensive work products, including technical specifications, process maps, use cases, and status reports.Project support: Assist in project planning, coordination, and quality assurance activities, supporting project managers and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.Reporting: Develop and generate reports for stakeholders, presenting findings and recommendations to support informed decision-making.Key skills and knowledgeStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExpertise in data analysis tools and techniques, including advanced spreadsheet useKnowledge of telecom systems, such as Telecom Expense Management (TEM) systems, Network functions, Service Assurance, OSS and BSS is a must to haveProficiency in documenting business processes and system requirementsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholdersAbility to understand and assess the impact of system changes on business processesAdept at Agile working models with hands-on experience on Jira, Confluence________
