Do you value the idea of a supportive team environment that will mentor you in your new role?For our legal entity Vontobel Swiss Financial Advisers (Vontobel SFA), a US licensed Registered Investment Adviser (RIA), we are looking for a Senior Business Risk Manager who will help support the team by managing the risks, whilst facilitating its growth.What would your role be?Be heavily involved in control documentation, execution, and remediation (control framework), including provision of educationParticipate in our governance, deputizing the Head of Risk at SFA, preparing and syndicating material, documenting our discussions to ensure transparency, and tracking completion of action itemsManage mini-projects, process improvements, audit preparation and execution, and records management activities in an ever-changing environmentManage the risk and control self-assessment process, assessing inherent and residual risks and has a holistic view on all risk taxonomiesResponsible for the cross-border framework and related governance, and act as subject matter expert to SFA on cross-border mattersAutomate controls, where opportunities are identified by you and your team, using your abilities to work with Excel scripts/PowerShell/macros, robotics process automation (RPA) or Python.What are we looking for?Process/product knowledge: you are familiar with banking processes and products; you have worked in the back office or in another operational roleExperience with automation, process improvement and coding or macro knowledge; in particular with Excel (Macros/PowerShell) and/or PythonProficient in English, and outstanding communication/stakeholder management skills.
