Job Description

Act as a key enabler within the quality organization to support definition, implementation and improvement of the quality processes and activities in all phases and areas of the construction project. Working alongside the quality control manager, preservation engineer, and area quality Managers, this role ensures alignment, integration, and practical rollout of quality processes, performance measurement, and cross-functional initiatives.  Focus of the role Process Development & Standardization Design and implement new cross-project quality processes in collaboration with function leads Ensure scalability and usability of processes across different areas and project stages Promote adherence to defined standards while allowing for area-specific adaptations Performance Monitoring & Reporting Structure Improve KPIs to measure the effectiveness of quality activities Establish regular tracking and reporting structure for key performance indicators Assist in preparing periodic quality progress reports for all stakeholders Quality Roll outs & Initiative Deployment Coordinate and manage the roll-out of quality related programs and processes  Identify roll out blockers and work collaboratively to resolve them Stakeholder Feedback & Collaboration Gather feedback from stakeholders (construction, commissioning, …) on processes, initiatives Evaluate feedback and convert it into actionable improvements Facilitate workshops, alignment sessions, or feedback loops as needed Qualifications Degree in engineering, quality management, or equivalent technical discipline 8-10 Years of experience in construction quality Familiarity with quality assurance/control principles and project management basics Quality Management according to ISO 9001, ISO 10005, ISO 19011 Construction Execution according to EN 1090, DIN 18202, DIN EN 206 Management Certifications (Highly Valued) Lean, Six Sigma or others Knowledge of large-scale industrial construction or infrastructure projects preferred Profile:  Ability to define, implement, and communicate structured processes and metrics Ability to follow and participate in technical discussions on a first principles basis Strong analytical skills and structured approach to handling data and feedback Experience with process improvement, performance measurement, and stakeholder engagement Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to translate technical concepts Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project reporting tools
