Senior Database Administrator

Role: Sr Data Base Administrator / MySQL DBA with ServiceNow Work Location: Stockholm, SwedenHybrid: Tele2 Office – 1 or 2 days / weekSubcon Duration: 6 monthsExperience: 7+ yrs and not more than 17 Yrs overallServiceNow Admin with ServiceNow CSA and CAD certifications.Ability to manage ServiceNow upgrades independentlyExperience in ServiceNow ITSM, CSM, FSMRequired Skills and Experience (MySQL/MariaDB DBA Job Description with , Master-Slave, and MaxScale Focus):5+ yearsStrong understanding of MySQL/MariaDBdatabase architecture, including storage engines, replication, and performance tuning.Hands-on experience with MariaDB administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.In-depth knowledge of master-slave replication concepts and best practices.Experience with MaxScale or similar database load balancing and proxy solutions.Proficiency in SQL query optimization and performance tuning.Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and troubleshooting.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Hands-on experience with Linux systems administration, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or CentOS.
