This is a priority request, and we appreciate your immediate assistance in identifying suitable candidates.Required Skills & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical EngineeringExperience: 6–8 years in the same fieldSpecialization: Substations, Transmission Lines, and Electrical SystemsJob Description & Key ResponsibilitiesThe Scoping Engineering Expert will provide technical leadership and engineering support across project development, including:Preparing technical reports, scopes of work, tender evaluations, and risk assessmentsDeveloping and reviewing SLDs, protection schemes, control architectures, and conducting power system studies (load flow, short circuit, grounding, arc flash)Reviewing and validating equipment specifications for substation components (transformers, switchgears, cables, relays, control systems, SCADA, communication systems)Ensuring compliance with SEC, NG, IEC, IEEE, and similar standardsManaging EPC contractors, consultants, and vendors during engineering and procurement stagesOverseeing full project lifecycle for conventional and renewable energy projects—from feasibility to detailed engineering and grid integrationProviding technical inputs related to Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) including PCS selection, transformer specs, MV layouts, and protection coordinationCoordinating with stakeholders on grid connection requirements, system studies, and integration of renewable assetsRequired Skills & KnowledgeStrong expertise in substation electrical systemsAbility to analyze conventional & renewable power generation, transmission, and distribution systemsProficiency in reading and reviewing engineering drawingsStrong knowledge of industry standards and engineering practicesExcellent analytical, communication, and leadership capabilitiesAbility to independently lead technical meetings and drive engineering alignment across stakeholders
