Senior Equity Research Analyst

About The RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated Senior Equity Research Analyst in RHB Islamic International Asset Management (RIIAM). In this role, you will be responsible for generating actionable stock ideas, providing in-depth research coverage on assigned sectors and take up active role in portfolio management for various Institutional mandates. This includes producing high-quality research reports, developing and maintaining financial models, conducting ESG assessments, and active role in portfolio management related decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for uncovering investment opportunities backed by strong analytical capabilities.What You Will Be DoingGenerate high-conviction stock ideas and sector insights to support portfolio strategy and constructionActive contribution in portfolio management related decision making and pitching to potential clients.Conduct detailed analysis of companies within assigned sectors, including industry trends and competitive positioningPrepare and maintain financial models and valuation assessmentsProduce timely and insightful research reports and presentations for internal stakeholdersPerform ESG assessments to align with responsible investment strategiesEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and best practices in research standardsWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 5 years of experience in equity research, investment analysis, or a related financial roleStrong analytical and financial modeling skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesDemonstrated ability to think independently and generate original investment ideasIn-depth understanding of capital markets, particularly in MalaysiaFamiliarity with ESG frameworks and sustainability trends is a plusCFA qualification or progress toward it is an added advantageWhat We OfferAt RHB Banking Group, we are committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment that empowers our employees to reach their full potential.
