This role partners closely with key stakeholders to enable the financial success of the online business and drive the transformation of factory-to-customer operations. With a strong focus on commercial insights and value creation, the Senior Financial Analyst plays a vital role in shaping data-driven decisions that support growth and profitability. About the role: Provide business partnering, financial modelling and business case support on project investment requests to key stakeholders for the merchandise business unit, and reviews post implementation benefits to assess project effectiveness and communicates resultsProvide full P&L financial support on commercial merchandise arrangements including online commercial arrangementsAnalyse financial data and results to educate the merchandise business on the levers of success and opportunities to improve profitability to inform strategic decision makingAssist in ad hoc projects and analysis and assist with value add projects on day to day duties and processesDelivery of merchandise performance reporting, metrics submissions and commentary for the Board & EGM, as requiredManage and collaborate with key stakeholders to build detailed budgets and forecasts for the merchandise business, as requiredUndertake presentation of monthly results and forecasts to key stakeholders, and highlight key risks and opportunities, as requiredAbout you: 5+ years‘ experience in a commercial or business partnering roleCA or CPA qualified or similar qualification, with previous experience in a Commercial Finance environmentPrevious experience in Retail, FMCG, eCommerce, logistics or a similar diversified sector, preferredStrong excel modelling skills with previous experience working with large data setsStrong analytical and quantitative problem solving skills with high attention to detailStrong commercial acumen with an ability to establish a deep understanding of any business problem being analysedA positive approach to challenge and change with the ability to be agile and adaptableStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with non-financial stakeholdersA proven ability to challenge and influence key business stakeholders and processes to drive the best possible outcome for the organisationBenefits to you: Generous team member discounts on all Myer products, including team-member exclusive discounts.Access to lifestyle leave and volunteer leave - arrange work around your life, not life around work.A supportive leadership and team network to set you up for success.Career growth and succession opportunities across the business.Here, you’re not only an employee.
