SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST (CPA REQUIRED)Our Toronto based client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Preparation and review of inputs into the consolidated financial statement note disclosures on a quarterly basisPrepares routine and non-routine journal entries and reconciliations on a monthly and quarterly basis.Provides reliable financial information, analysis and operational support Implements accounting, organizational and regulatory policies and the associated internal control activities, including supporting external auditorsDiscusses financial performance in terms of key value drivers of the business and clearly communicates the analysis behind the numbers.Remains current and compliant with emerging IFRS and Accounting Procedures Handbook (APH) accounting and disclosure requirements and implementation of those accounting standard changes.Understanding of regulatory accounting and MIFRSSKILLS REQUIRED: Bachelor/ Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Business Administration or related fieldChartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation in Canada (REQUIRED)Five (5) or more years of progressive financial analysis experience.1 year contractRate: $50 - $55/hour for an Incorporated Consultant (based on 35 hours/week)Hybrid work model (3 days/week in office MANDATORY)If you’re interested, please reply with a copy of your updated CV.I will be in contact quickly to discuss additional info and next steps.Best regards,
