In this role, you’ll analyze complex accounting issues, collaborate with business units, and lead process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and reliability.Inventory Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of inventory cost accounting and financial management to ensure accuracy, integrity, and alignment with organizational goals.Strategic Insights: Analyze inventory and costing data across programs, translating complex information into actionable recommendations for leadership.Reporting Excellence: Manage internal and external inventory-related financial reporting, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with standards and controls.Financial Accuracy: Ensure precise invoicing and allocation of product and program costs, maintaining strict attention to detail.Process Improvement: Design and implement efficient financial processes to strengthen controls, enhance data quality, and improve reporting transparency.Audit Leadership: Serve as primary liaison for external auditors on inventory matters, providing reconciliations, documentation, and explanations to support smooth audits.National Oversight: Coordinate annual inventory counts and maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with finance and operational teams to deliver integrated financial insights that drive organizational value.What We're Looking For:CPA (CA/CMA/CGA) with a post-secondary degree in a relevant field.5+ years of experience, including inventory costing expertise.Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems; quick learner with technology.Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial and operational data.Skilled in leveraging technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency.Knowledge of accounting standards and best-practice recommendations.Understanding of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience considered.Our team is eager to connect with candidates who meet the job requirements.
