Senior Forensic Accountant CA(SA) - Contract

About the jobExciting opportunity to work with one of the worlds' largest diversified insurance groups, supporting their London team on a full-time basis.About the RoleContract Duration: 6 – 9 monthsLocation: Remote (must be based in South Africa) ResponsibilitiesAbility to analyse data.Make risk assessments and recommendations on corrective action that needs to be taken on data reviewed.Experience of Coda and Subscribe essential.Experience in Claim Centre preferred.Ability to design and implement process and control recommendations to future proof the process that will avoid high volume and value of unmatched cash / open premium debtor / claim creditor balances.Working alongside operational teams to investigate query items and follow up on corrections implemented to ensure items successfully closed down. Where the corrections are finance related (and not front end systems related) preparing the required journals / adjustments / matching routines to clear the open items.Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot data anomalies or inconsistencies that could affect financial accuracy.Clear and confident communication skills to present findings, collaborate effectively with stakeholders, and support the resolution of complex reconciliation issues.RequirementsCA(SA)3 – 5 years post-articles experienceStrong background in internal controls/auditExperience in forensic accountingMust have insurance experience (understanding of Claims, premiums)Immediately availableIf you haven't heard back from us within two weeks of submitting your application, please consider your application unsuccessful at this time.
