Treasury AccountantGauteng, SandtonSalary: R25 000 - R35 000 per monthAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the organization's liquidity, financial stability, and optimal cash utilization. The successful candidate will manage daily treasury operations, support financial risk management, and contribute to continuous process improvement within the treasury function.Key Responsibilities• Monitor and manage daily cash balances and transactions• Manage cash flow forecasts and short- and long-term funding requirements• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure complete and accurate financial records• Prepare and analyze cash flow statements and treasury-related financial reports• Evaluate and manage interest rate and foreign exchange risks• Assist in developing and enhancing treasury policies, controls, and procedures• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial regulations• Support the implementation and optimization of treasury management systems• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs within the treasury function• Complete profit and loss statements accurately and timeously for the relevant division by processing all relevant financial dataQualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field• 3+ years’ experience in a treasury or finance role• Strong knowledge of cash management and forecasting techniques• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and financial modellingApply NowStefan PretoriusRecruiterstpretorius@communicate.co.za
