Job Description: We are now looking for a precise Senior HR Generalist on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer in the Military Defense Industry! In this role, you’ll manage benefits and pension plans while also supporting a diverse set of HR responsibilities ranging from employee communications and onboarding/offboarding to policy development and database upkeep. The successful candidate will flourish in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, while working with both union and non-union staff while bringing in a service-driven, people-centric mindset.Job Location: Ingersoll, ON Job Type: Full-time, permanent.Shift Structure: Day shift. Key Responsibilities: Oversee employee benefits and pension programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.Act as the primary contact for employees with questions about benefits and pension plans.Perform HR generalist duties across a range of functions.Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring compliance and a seamless experience.Prepare and distribute employee communications and announcements.Administer the company uniform program, including distribution and inventory management.Maintain and update HR databases and government reporting systems, including the Workplace Equity Information Management System (WEIMS).Provide HR support for both unionized and non-unionized employees, ensuring adherence to collective agreements and employment laws.Assist with reporting, audits, and various compliance obligations.Safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and accuracy of sensitive employee data.Collaborate with supervisors and managers to identify and address people-related issues proactively.Other duties as required.Requirements/Qualifications:CHRL/CHRP or SHRM Certification/Designation – strongly preferredJoint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) Certification is an assetMinimum 5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similarDesired Skills: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Proven leadership, motivational, and training capabilities in all HR-related topics.In-depth knowledge of labor relations, collective bargaining agreements (CBA), employment legislation, compensation, health & safety regulations, equity laws, benefits, pensions, and employment standards.Professional, approachable demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.Apply Today!
