Senior IT Executive

POSITION SUMMARYThe Senior - IT Executive will provide assistance in planning, coordinating, maintaining, and implementing necessary changes to enhance and upgrade the Server & Cloud Solution. Provide operational and technical support to the users of business applications to ensure that the business benefits of applications continue to be achieved throughout their lifetime and maintain the Service Level Agreements (SLA).KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and systemsProvide technical support and guidance to users and junior staffAutomate processes for issue prevention, detection, and resolutionDevelop deployment scripts and system configuration setupsConduct testing, including hardware qualification and virtualisationAssist in cloud solution development, testing, and gap analysisDocument procedures for installation, configuration, and troubleshootingDiagnose and escalate complex issues; recommend preventive solutionsMonitor and report on system performance, availability, and securityParticipate in planned maintenance, backups, and disaster recovery drillsDrive improvements in infrastructure through automation and virtualisationKEY REQUIREMENTS:Qualifications & ExperienceDegree or professional certification in IT, Computer Science, or related field3–5 years of experience in Information TechnologyTechnical SkillsWindows & Linux server operationsBackup solutions: Veeam, CloudAllyMicrosoft Office 365 administrationSophos security operations (XDR/EDR, MDR)Azure Cloud (server, networking, virtualization)NAS & SAN storage systemsMicrosoft technologies: Hyper-V, Active Directory, Exchange, ADFS, SQL, IIS, Directory SyncNetwork policy, print management, virtual machine managementIntermediate networking and security knowledgeExperience with support ticketing systems
