The CX Compliance team plays a critical role in ensuring our global Compliance Operations run smoothly, adhere to regulatory standards, and deliver consistently high-quality outcomes. As a Lead Analyst, Compliance TMS Operations, you will take ownership of end-to-end Transaction Monitoring investigations involving both individuals and entities, which may result in the drafting and filing of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs). This role requires strong experience in quality control and a proactive approach to working with various stakeholders across the Financial Crime Risk service line and support teams. You'll navigate complex scenarios and issues, balancing high-volume workloads with exceptional attention to detail. Operating with minimal supervision, you'll prioritize effectively, collaborate cross-functionally, and remain open to feedback to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.What you’ll be doing:Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial services, crypto, investigations, legal, or the tech industry, with a focus on TMS, compliance, or regulatory matters.Relevant experience in drafting suspicious transaction reports in the format provided by Singapore Police Force and filing it on the SONAR portalAble to identify red flag indicators and populate them correctly in the STR filesConduct investigative review and analysis in support of company’s AML regulatory compliance policies and programs including investigating automated alerts from our transaction monitoring systems, and referrals sourced from law enforcement requests and other company lines of businessAnalyze transaction activity and KYC information and conduct due diligence research in support of investigations as well as interpret evidence from external tools and systems to determine the legitimacy of customer behavior across multiple productsDocument investigations in written narrativesDecide whether activity warrants escalation for additional review and subsequently recommend whether activity appears suspicious and warrants filing of a suspicious activity reportIncorporate feedback from Quality Assurance TeamMaintain detailed documentation to demonstrate compliance with regulations and internal policies and procedures Remain current with industry standards and developments in the areas of KYC, BSA/AML, and OFAC, and apply regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures to case investigationReview data from systems and following Coinbase procedures to investigate, decide, and document transaction monitoring alertsWhat we look for in you: Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication (verbal and written) skillsExperience working with Google Sheet, Google Doc, Excel, WordFlexible and adaptable to the evolving needs of a high-growth and fast paced organization environmentReady to support in 24*7 environment Organized with a High level of attention to detailNice to haves:Professional certification in AML or Fraud (e.g. CAMS, CFCS, CFE) Experience in project management, analytics, or vendor managementAdvanced degree in business, finance, or customer experience (CX)Proficiency with tools such as Google apps, JIRA, Hummingbird, and Salesforce Service Cloud.Experience collaborating with external outsource business partners Pay Transparency Notice: The target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below.
