🚀 Senior Manager, Accounting Shared Services (SSC Launch)Location: Belgrade, Serbia | Employment Type: Full-Time ONSITE | Industry: Automotive Supply🌟 The OpportunityAre you a visionary Finance Leader ready to build an operation from the ground up?Our client, a leading global automotive supplier, is launching the pilot for its global Finance Shared Service Center (SSC) in Belgrade. We are seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting Shared Services to fully establish, lead, and scale this critical new center.This is a high-impact, hands-on role requiring proven expertise in process migration, team leadership, and finance transformation. You will be responsible for setting the standard for the client's future global SSC strategy.🎯 What You Will Build & Lead (Main Duties)This role encompasses full responsibility for the SSC setup and initial operations:SSC Establishment: Fully establish and lead the new Accounting Shared Service CentreTeam Leadership: Recruit, lead, and develop the local SSC team, fostering a high-performance culture.Process Transformation: Integrate, harmonize, and document transactional accounting processes (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Travel Expenses) migrated from multiple entities.Strategic Alignment: Coordinate with the global project team on knowledge transfer, process mapping, and ensuring alignment with the global SSC expansion strategy.Compliance & Control: Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory requirements, tax laws, and internal controls; support internal/external audits.Performance: Define and rigorously monitor key KPIs and SLAs for service delivery excellence.Improvement: Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to prepare the SSC for future growth phases.✅ Must-Have QualificationsWe are looking for a proven leader with strong foundational experience:Experience (5+ Years): 5+ years in a finance or accounting leadership role.SSC Leadership: Proven experience setting up or managing a Shared Service Center (SSC).Process Transformation: Strong track record in process migration, harmonization, and transformation across multiple entities.Accounting Expertise: In-depth knowledge of international accounting rules (e.g., US-GAAP, IFRS).System Experience: Experience with SAP (S/4HANA or ECC).Education: University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Language: Excellent written and spoken English.Mindset: Highly hands-on approach, strong personal responsibility, and structured working style.⭐ Nice-to-Have Skills (Assets)Experience in the manufacturing industry (ideally automotive).Proficiency in German (written and spoken).Knowledge of Process Management.Strong intercultural competence and experience managing international teams.✈️ Work Environment & BenefitsCompensation: Competitive salary and attractive benefitsTravel: Regular overnight travel (10-25%) is required, especially during the initial setup phase for process understanding and stakeholder alignment.Culture: Join a respectful corporate culture offering an international work environment and individual development opportunities.
