Our work spans clean energy, consumer and industrial solutions, global trading support, and healthcare .We support investors and companies seeking to establish or scale operations across Francophone and Anglophone African markets.We are expanding our consulting network with highly skilled, project-based experts who can drive impactful international expansion initiatives.Role OverviewThe Senior Market Entry & Expansion Consultant will lead strategic advisory engagements for clients entering new African markets or scaling their existing footprint. This role involves market intelligence, opportunity assessment, go-to-market strategy, stakeholder engagement, and investment facilitation. You will work closely with InTraDev Afrique’s leadership to deliver actionable insights and high-quality project outputs.This is a remote, project-based role suited for a senior professional with proven experience in cross-border expansion, economic development, and investment advisory.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Entry & Expansion StrategyLead the design and execution of market entry and expansion strategies across targeted African markets.Conduct market assessments, regulatory analysis, competitive mapping, and opportunity identification.Develop actionable go-to-market plans, partnership frameworks, and localization strategies.Investment Promotion & Economic Development AdvisoryAdvise government agencies, investment promotion bodies, and private sector clients on sector development priorities.Support investment attraction missions, business delegations, and stakeholder engagement programs.Contribute to national or regional economic development strategies within priority sectors.Client Engagement & Project DeliveryServe as the lead consultant on high-level engagements, ensuring deliverables meet quality and timelines.Present findings, strategic recommendations, and business cases to senior executives and government leaders.Manage client relationships and maintain strong professional credibility.Partnership Building & Stakeholder ManagementIdentify and engage high-value partners across private sector, government, industry associations, and development finance institutions.Facilitate B2B, B2G, and G2G engagements to support smooth market entry or expansion.Research & InsightsDeliver sector-specific insights in areas such as clean energy, consumer markets, industrial solutions, global supply chains, and healthcare.Monitor policy changes, market risks, and emerging opportunities across Africa.Required Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 7–10 years experience in market entry, strategic consulting, investment promotion, or economic development.Strong understanding of African business environments—Francophone Africa experience is a strong advantage.Proven track record delivering market assessments, feasibility studies, business cases, or investment strategies.Ability to engage senior-level stakeholders, including government officials and C-suite executives.Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.Fluency in French required; English is highly preferred.Ability to work independently under project-based timelines.Experience supporting international companies entering African markets.Professional networks across Africa, Europe, Middle East, or Asia.Contract TypeProject-based / ConsultantRemote, with possible travel depending on project requirements.Competitive consulting fees based on assignment scope.
