Job Title: Senior Mechanical BIM Design EngineerExperience Required:Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design, with strong proficiency in Revit and BIM coordination, and proven experience in Saudi Arabia-based projects. Must be knowledgeable in mechanical systems for residential and commercial buildings.⸻Job Responsibilities:• Lead and manage the mechanical design department to ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and compliant mechanical designs.• Oversee all stages of mechanical design, from concept development to detailed design and construction documentation.• Coordinate with other departments (architectural, structural, electrical, and interior) to ensure full integration of mechanical systems within overall project design.• Supervise and perform BIM coordination activities, ensuring accuracy and consistency of MEP models.• Review and approve design drawings, HVAC calculations, plumbing layouts, fire-fighting systems, and material selections.• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the mechanical design team.• Ensure all designs comply with Saudi building codes, international standards, and project-specific requirements.• Monitor project schedules, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.• Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors to clarify design intent and resolve technical issues.⸻Qualifications and Skills:• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design and team management.• Excellent proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination tools.• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems for residential and commercial buildings.• Proven experience in handling Saudi Arabia-based projects.• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
