Senior Merchandising Planning Executive

The Merchandising Planning Demand Department plays the key role in the overall Product Planning process for Uniqlo Singapore in line with our LIFEWEAR philosophy to provide the best of what UNIQLO can offer to our customers.Key responsibilities:Merchandising PlanningEstablish a buying and pricing strategy for current and future seasons, identify key product category growth opportunities and follow through from seasonal planning until sell out.Committed to achieve sales targets proactively and ensure strong business results.Issue Purchase Orders and monitor production and delivery schedules from factory to the local warehouse according to the sales plan and in store layout plan. Frequent engagement to ensure schedules are on time is required Perform market research and collect the voice of customers to understand local customer demand and propose necessary product mix to global headquartersStakeholders ManagementEstablish strong relationships and communication, stretching from store to management, production countries to global headquartersCollaborate with other departments (Store Operations, Marketing, Instore merchandising, Inventory control) to prepare the sales floor layout according to business strategy and sales planRequirements:1-3 years’ relevant experience (merchandising, buying) within Apparel/fashion spacePassion for Apparel; up to date with the latest trends in SingaporeStrong financial and commercial awareness, with high analytical skillsAbility to communicate with key stakeholders and influence at all levels of seniorityCritical thinking skills (data driven) and committed to providing solutionsAble to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentPositive attitude; able to meet deadlines with self initiative
