Senior Odoo Engineer

Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior Odoo Engineer to join our client's growing team. This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise and leadership, ideal for someone who can both mentor developers and actively participate in designing, developing, and optimizing Odoo applications.  The ideal candidate must possess deep knowledge of Odoo’s architecture, strong Python skills, and hands-on experience with major Odoo modules. Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Alibaba Cloud), PostgreSQL, and modern front-end technologies is essential. Education: Bachelor of Science (BSc)Experience:  4+ yearsExperience in cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Alibaba CloudRelevant experience in ERP/Odoo-based environments  Key Responsibilities: Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Odoo development lifecycle, framework, and architectureConduct development, configuration, and enhancement of Odoo modules, including Sales, Purchase, Accounting, Inventory, HR, Maintenance, Rental, and Web.Develop and maintain clear technical documentation, including flowcharts, user flows, algorithms, and data-flow diagrams.Work on Qweb reports, Odoo website development, and front-end components (HTML, CSS, Bootstrap).Use strong Python skills and libraries to solve complex technical problems.Perform database administration tasks and write optimized PostgreSQL queries.Manage version control with GIT/Bitbucket, including branching/merging strategies.Execute tasks related to bug fixing, performance optimization, production support, and deployment.Carry out customization, data migration, module migration, BI reporting, and automated/unit testing.Manage server deployment, load balancing, and error handling for Odoo systems.Stay updated on the latest Odoo versions and ORM API changes.Provide actionable feedback to team members, assign tasks, and ensure project delivery alignment.Demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript, including jQuery, AJAX, OWL JS, dynamic snippet creation, JS RPC calls, widget development, sync/async functions, and modular JS structures.Work on Odoo theme development and advanced UI customization.Key Requirements:Strong command of Odoo’s modules and architecture.Excellent knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, and Odoo ORM.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Alibaba).Knowledge of server deployment & ERP performance optimization.Strong JavaScript proficiency (jQuery, OWL, AJAX, widget development).Experience with GIT, Bitbucket, and CI/CD workflows.Strong decision-making skills and understanding of ERP workflows.Ability to work on own and be self-motivating.  Company Information:Arbree Limited (www.arbreesolutions.com)We are hiring for one of our clients.SalaryBDT 90,000 - 1,00,000 per monthSetupHybrid OfficeLocation:Mirpur DOHSIf interested, please email your CV with the subject “Applying for Senior Odo Developer” to ferdous@arbreesolutions.com, and also mention the expected salary.
