If so, we invite you to join the Autodesk Building Design team, the makers of Autodesk Revit.We’re looking for an accomplished and highly motivated Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our cross-functional Agile team. Our team is building the next generation of Autodesk Insight, a cloud service that empowers architects and engineers to design energy-efficient buildings using advanced simulation engines and performance analysis data integrated with Autodesk Revit.As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will lead initiatives to improve the quality, stability, reliability, and usability of our software. You will combine your quality assurance mindset with strong technical skills in test automation. You’ll develop and execute test plans, validate the quality of both cloud services and desktop changes, and ensure we identify and address defects early in the development process. You will also collaborate with the larger Building QA organization and product support teams to ensure customer success.Autodesk is a global leader in 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software. The work we do touches nearly every person on the planet—by creating tools for building design, manufacturing, and even blockbuster movies, we empower innovators to solve problems that matter.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate testing tools and frameworks (commercial, open-source, or proprietary) for project useCreate and execute test plans—both automated and manual—for new and existing featuresPerform functional, performance, security, load, installation, globalization/localization, scalability, and resiliency testing as neededPromote engineering excellence and a quality-first mindsetCollaborate on implementing, deploying, and maintaining automated testing within CI/CD pipelinesSupport production services in an on-call rotation and act as an escalation contact for service incidentsDocument, manage, and prioritize defects clearlyMonitor, analyze, and report automated and manual test results and metricsShare knowledge, mentor teammates, and actively engage in Agile ceremoniesMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience2+ years of experience in automation testing for web applications and desktop productsKnowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, debugging, and testingProficiency in JavaScriptExperience with testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, TestComplete, K6, Bruno, or similarAbility to quickly learn applications, technologies, and processesComfortable working in Linux and Windows environmentsAbility to debug using logs and observability tools like Splunk or DynatracePreferred QualificationsExperience with containerized environments like DockerUnderstanding of CI/CD tools such as JenkinsExperience with load testingFamiliarity with tools like Fiddler or other web debugging proxiesExperience working in an Agile or Scrum environment#AC-1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
