Senior Research Specialist (Social Impact)

We are looking for a Senior Research Specialist (Social Impact) to join our Research & Impact Analytics team. This role is ideal for a social scientist passionate about understanding how large-scale interventions shape societies. You will design and oversee population and panel studies, conduct desk-based research across multiple domains, and work closely with leading research agencies and academic partners. Your insights will directly inform inDrive’s social impact strategy in education, sports, arts, ecology, and technology.ResponsibilitiesDesign & Commission Studies: Develop research briefs and methodologies for population-level and panel studies; lead collaborations with external agencies and academic partners who carry out the fieldwork.Desk-Based Research: Conduct research on emerging societal trends, best practices, and relevant data sources across education, sports, arts, ecology, and technology.Insight Reporting: Review, validate, and interpret data from external and internal sources; transform findings into clear, actionable insights for project teams and executives.Knowledge Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with universities, think tanks, and research organizations to co-develop high-quality studies and enhance credibility.QualificationsDegree in Sociology, Political Science, Economics, or a related social science field.3–5 years of applied research experience, ideally with population or longitudinal/panel studies.Strong understanding of social science methodologies and ability to critically assess external research outputs.Experience commissioning and managing external research projects (agencies, NGOs, or academic institutions).Excellent analytical and storytelling skills – able to turn complex findings into clear narratives.Proficiency with data analysis and presentation tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Google Slides; knowledge of SPSS/R a plus).Conditions & BenefitsHealth insurance with oncology coverage and life insurance included.Hybrid work mode and flexible schedule.Relocation package offered for candidates from other regions.Access to professional counseling services including psychological, financial, and legal support.Diverse internal training programs.Partially or fully paid additional training courses.All necessary work equipment.Fitness club membership discount.
