About The RoleWe are urgently seeking a Senior SD-WAN Network Engineer (Cisco IOS-XE) to lead a mission-critical Viptela to IOS-XE SDWAN migration for a Fortune 500 client. This is a fast-paced, high-stakes engagement requiring a true expert who can architect solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and execute flawlessly under pressure.If you have elite-level IOS-XE SDWAN experience, deep Viptela expertise, and the ability to start immediately—this is the opportunity to lead a major transformation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead a multi-site, enterprise-wide Viptela → IOS-XE SDWAN migration, including troubleshooting during migration, cutover, and stabilization phases.Architect IOS-XE SDWAN solutions aligned with strict performance, scalability, and security requirements.Develop comprehensive migration playbooks, runbooks, technical documentation, and ensure accuracy throughout the project.Configure, deploy, and optimize Cisco IOS-XE SDWAN across global environments, ensuring seamless operation.Integrate SDWAN with existing network, security, cloud, and edge infrastructure, ensuring full alignment and compatibility.Conduct pre-migration assessments, design validation, and proof-of-concept testing to confirm readiness and reduce risk.Provide hands-on support during maintenance windows, cutovers, and off-hours, ensuring smooth implementation.Act as the primary technical lead for client teams, presenting architecture designs, migration strategies, risk assessments, progress updates, and advising on optimization and long-term enhancements.Required Experience & Skills8+ years of hands-on network engineering experience and 5+ years specializing in SDWAN technologies.Expert-level proficiency in Cisco IOS-XE SDWAN (mandatory).Proven experience designing, deploying, and migrating Viptela SDWAN environments.Deep understanding of Viptela → IOS-XE SDWAN migrations, including feature parity, policy translation, and template/policy migrations.Strong experience with cutover and rollback strategies for large-scale SDWAN transformations.Advanced knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), QoS, IPsec, OMP, and overlay/underlay architecture design.Hands-on expertise with Cisco vManage, vSmart, vBond, vEdge, and cEdge platforms.Proven ability to troubleshoot complex SDWAN issues in fast-paced production environments under tight deadlines.Preferred QualificationsCCIE Enterprise Infrastructure or CCIE Service Provider.Experience with multi-vendor SDWAN such as VeloCloud, Fortinet, or Silver Peak.Background supporting large enterprise or service provider environments.Experience with network automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform).Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid WAN models.Why Join us?Immediate Impact: Lead a high-visibility, mission-critical migration.Remote Flexibility: Full autonomy over your work environment.Elite Team: Work alongside senior engineers and top-tier consultants.About Bold BusinessBold Business is a US-based global business process outsourcing (BPO) firm with over 25 years of experience and $7B+ in client engagements.
