Further information can be found at www.man.com As at 30 September 2025The TeamWe are looking for skilled Senior Software Engineer in Test with a genuine passion for technology to work within Execution Technology. The group has experienced significant investment over the past few years with an increased focus on the interaction between investment decision and execution quality to deliver the best value to our clients. We have trading floors in London, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Boston, with an engineering and research presence in London, Boston and Sofia, and are responsible for trading in excess of $7Trillion dollars annually.This role will focus on enhancing our testing capabilities and certification processes within the Execution platform. The position combines automated testing expertise with hands-on development to build robust regression test suites and streamline our certification workflows. You'll work closely with Execution engineers and analysts to improve testing coverage across the entire Execution estate.Role ResponsibilitiesDesign and build comprehensive regression test packs using test harness and other automation frameworksImprove and streamline certification processes, reducing manual overhead and increasing efficiencyDevelop automation solutions for stress testing, scenario management, and failure handlingCreate better organization and visualization of test scenarios to improve coverage visibilityCollaborate with Market Connectivity and EMS Implementation teams on certification tooling improvementsEnhance simulator capabilities and integration within the testing ecosystemDrive adoption of testing best practices across the Execution platformSupport production testing and certification requirementsStrong background in test automation and quality assurance methodologiesExperience with automated testing frameworks and test harness development Key CompetenciesStrong analytical skills for identifying test coverage gaps and failure root causesExcellent communication skills for cross-team collaborationProactive approach to process improvement and automationAbility to work independently while supporting broader team objectivesProficiency in Java and Linux environmentsExperience with stress testing and performance validationKnowledge of FIX protocol and electronic trading communications (preferred)Kafka and SQL experience (preferred)Understanding of financial markets and trading systems (preferred)Inclusion, Work-Life Balance And Benefits At Man GroupYou'll thrive in our working environment that champions equality of opportunity.
