Senior Software Engineer (Python + GenAI)

Our client, a leader in intelligent automation solutions powered by AI, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive the design, development and scaling of next-generation AI products. This role will mentor mid-level engineers, influence architecture decisions, and ensure engineering excellence across projects.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development of AI-driven prototypes and production-grade applications.Provide technical mentorship and perform code reviews.Collaborate with leadership on solution architecture and technical strategy.Conduct advanced research on AI frameworks and methodologies.Communicate progress to stakeholders and support sprint planning.Prepare technical documentation and architectural diagrams.Requirements:5+ years of professional Python development experience.Deep experience with GenAI tools (AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).Hands-on expertise with AWS services (SageMaker, Bedrock, ECS, Lambda, S3).Strong knowledge of best engineering practices: CI/CD, testing, scalability, version control.Prior experience mentoring engineersSkills:Advanced Python proficiency and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to design scalable AI systems.Clear technical communication and leadership qualities.Curiosity toward emerging GenAI technologies.Experience in Banking, Finance or Mortgage Industry is a Plus
