About the roleThe Senior Technical Systems Analyst plays a key role in the management and support of technology systems, providing advanced technical leadership and oversight for enterprise systems and infrastructure. The role is responsible for designing, installing, implementing and optimising TSB’s existing Cards and Payments systems and integrations, ensuring they meet both enterprise and industry needs, best practices and compliance requirements.Who are you?You will be an energetic and collaborative person who will have a strong technical background, focusing on planning and deploying critical system maintenance, upgrades and change as well as setting IT standards. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are important as you will work with the platform engineering teams, collaborating with architects and business stakeholders, and manage vendor relationships.You will demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills as you are required to evaluate new solutions, identify opportunities for improvement and ensures seamless functionality across technology platforms & services.In this role, you can expect to:Lead with Architecture and Engineers, the planning and deployment of critical IT technologies.Perform capacity planning and performance tuning for enterprise systems and conduct risk assessments.Take a leading role on cards and payments related requirements and releases, this includes regular scheme compliance releasesUndertake knowledge sharing activities with peers through communities of practice.We are looking for candidates who have:3+ years' experience working as a System Analyst or Business analyst supporting Cards and Payments technology Foundational level certifications in a technology domain, such as ITIL, CSBA or similar.Good understanding of technology & software, including sound technology operational practicesWhat’s in it for me?At TSB, we’re small enough to really care about our customers but big enough to have great rates, innovative products, and digital solutions.
