Senior UI/UX Designer

Ablaze labs is a technology company and we are looking for a full time and on site Senior UI/UX Designer. Responsibilities1. Leadership & Team ManagementLead, mentor, and manage the UI/UX design team, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative, creative environment.Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure quality and consistency.Encourage professional growth within the team through coaching and knowledge-sharing.2. Design Strategy & VisionDefine and implement the UI/UX design strategy across products.Align design direction with company brand guidelines, business goals, and target audience needs.Champion a user-centered design culture across the organization.3. User Research & ValidationConduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to validate design decisions.Translate insights into actionable design improvements that enhance user experience.Advocate for accessibility, inclusivity, and responsiveness in all design solutions.4. Design Execution & ImplementationCreate wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate user flows and interactions.Ensure design consistency and quality across multiple platforms and devices.Partner with development teams to ensure seamless implementation of design elements.5. Collaboration & Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into design solutions.Communicate design concepts and rationale effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Align cross-functional teams on design priorities and user experience goals.6. Continuous Improvement & InnovationStay current with industry trends, tools, and emerging design patterns.Introduce innovative design approaches and foster experimentation within the team.Improve design processes, methodologies, and team efficiency.Qualifications4+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with proven leadership or team management experience.Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UI/UX projects and design deliverables.Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar).Deep understanding of user-centered design, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and guide a design team.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across cross-functional teams.Hands-on experience conducting user research, usability testing, and applying insights into product design.Solid knowledge of accessibility standards, responsive design, and emerging UI/UX trends.Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on design implementation.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with creativity in tackling complex design challenges.
