Senior Web Analytics Expert -Senior Consultant

We are looking for a Senior Web Analytics Expert to lead advanced analytics implementations and data-driven strategies for enterprise clients. This is a senior consulting role requiring deep expertise in Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM), combined with strong coding skills for custom tracking solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring accurate data collection, governance, and actionable insights that drive business growth.Location: SofiaWork pattern: Hybrid- 2 days per week in office (Sofia)Contract Type: PermanentHiring Process: 2 stagesSalary: €72,000 Gross/a DOE (client flexible and willing to accept higher expectations) + benefits package + bonusKey Responsibilities:Implement and manage Google Analytics (GA4) properties, data streams, and event tracking.Configure and maintain Google Tag Manager containers, tags, triggers, and variables.Develop custom JavaScript and HTML tags for advanced tracking requirements.Implement data layers and troubleshoot complex tracking setups using debugging tools.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployments and data integrity.Monitor analytics performance and generate actionable insights.Document processes and provide troubleshooting guides.Must-Have Skills:5–8 years of experience in web analytics implementation and support.Strong expertise in GA4 and GTM.Hands-on coding experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS.Familiarity with BigQuery, SQL, and visualization tools (Looker Studio, Power BI).Advanced debugging skills using Chrome DevTools, Tag Assistant, GA Debugger.Nice-to-Have:Server-side tagging experience (GCP, GTM Server Container).Knowledge of marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads).Exposure to ITIL frameworks and privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).Google certifications (GAIQ, GTM).Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, New Relic).Ready to build what’s next?Apply now and join a team where your ideas can shape the future.We have different open roles in Sofia for the same client so, if you know anyone who is looking for new opportunities, please let me know.
